FANDUST - INSTALL.TXT

Download FANDUST for your system from My Account.


MACOS

1. Open the zip and copy the plugins:
     FANDUST.vst3       to  ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
     FANDUST.component  to  ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

2. This build is not signed by Apple yet. macOS blocks unsigned
   plugins that were downloaded, so run these two lines in Terminal:

     xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/FANDUST.vst3
     xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/FANDUST.component

3. Ableton Live: Settings > Plug-Ins. Turn on "Use VST3 Plug-In
   System Folders" and "Use Audio Units", then click Rescan.
   Logic Pro picks up the Audio Unit on its own.


WINDOWS

1. Open the zip and copy FANDUST.vst3 to
     C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
2. Rescan plug-ins in your DAW.


LINUX

1. Unpack the archive and copy FANDUST.vst3 to ~/.vst3
2. Rescan plug-ins in your DAW (Bitwig, Reaper, Ardour, ...).


ACTIVATION

Load FANDUST on a track. The activation window opens. Sign in
with your Sunfish account e-mail and password.

Until it is activated, FANDUST passes audio through unprocessed.
One account can be activated on 3 computers. To move to a new
computer, deactivate the old one in FANDUST (Options >
Activation...) or on the My Account page.
